The ejidatarios who adhere to the EZLN’s Sixth Declaration of the Lacandona Jungle from San Sebastián Bachajón on 29 July published a communique denouncing that on 22 July they were for the second time denied a motion against the looting of their territory, this despite their guarantee to the corresponding judge that the assembly decision in question had been fabricated.  Furthermore, the ejidatarios reiterated their demand for the release of Miguel Demeza Jiménez and Antonio Estrada Estrada, who are also ejidatarios from San Sebastián Bachajón adhering to the Sixth Declaration, insisting that their incarceration was for crimes they did not commit.  They remarked that Estrada Estrada was tortured so as to incriminate himself in the charge of having assaulted state and federal police, while Demeza Jiménez “was falsely accused by the Special Prosecutorial Office against Organized Crime (FECDO) in complicity with […] [two people] who bought the Public Ministry of the FEDCO on 15 October 2010 so as to be released following their apprehension on the charge of kidnapping a minor […] and for this reason they have blamed our comrade Miguel.”
