On January 29, the journalist Verónica Villalvazo, also known by her pseudonym Frida Guerrera, was assaulted by a group of young men while she was walking through the center of the Oaxaca City. On this occasion, Verónica was “assaulted physically, verbally, and psychologically” denounced various organizations in a communiqué where they also expressed their concern about the freedom of expression in the state of Oaxaca.
