Chiapas: Lack of commitment on the part of the Mexican State inhibited human-rights defender from attending UN conference

The Fray Bartolomé de Las Casas Center for Human Rights denounced that “this act demonstrates the lack of seriousness and will on the part of the Mexican State to enforce the precautionary measures granted to Margarita Martínez and to provide guarantees for her activities as a human-rights defender.”
